Peggy Hyde, 71, of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away on February 6, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on November 4, 1952, in Leavenworth. Peggy was an amazing woman whom everyone loved. She was the absolute best grandmother and mother. Everyone who's known her never has a single bad thing to say. She was a treasure to all and will be dearly missed.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Tom Hyde, her daughter Marie Gillespie, her grandchildren Ryon Karpierz and Ashley Van Dyne, and her great-grandchildren Noland, AnnaBella, and Gannon Van Dyne. She was preceded in death by her father Benny Karpierz, her mother Norvita Tate, her daughter Jennifer Green, and her grandson Josh Warren.

Peggy attended Leavenworth High School and later pursued a career as a bar owner. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and hanging out with her family.

The details of Peggy's ceremony are yet to be determined. The family will inform everyone of more information as it becomes available.
