Peggy Ann Hoffman Peggy Ann Hoffman, age 69, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Severna Park, MD died Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Mrs. Hoffman was born on October 18, 1946 in Oella, MD. Peggy worked with the Social Security Administration for over 30 years. Following her retirement as a federal employee, she continued working as a secretary for Severna Park Middle School for many years. Outside of work, she enjoyed shopping, for herself and others. She also enjoyed entertaining and hosting parties, regardless of the holiday or occasion. Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine Smallwood and her brother, Alan Smallwood. She is survived by her husband, Robert P. Hoffman; son, Captain Robert C. Hoffman, USMC (Mollye) of Quantico, VA; grandchildren, Greyson, Weston, and Katelyn; and father, Elmer C. Smallwood. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the .
