Pauline was known throughout the community and her friends and neighbors benefited from her prolific baking skills. She continued to bake her own bread and buns until she became ill in 2016. She loved working in her garden and was quick to share her harvest, her preserves and her baking. Any new neighbor soon became her friend and protégé and then her extended family. Her grandchildren raved about her cinnamon buns. She danced, did yoga, loved to laugh and enjoyed a card game or two with friends and family. She loved it when her family visited, especially after Jack passed, as she always had a long list of chores and projects for her children, followed by good food, good laughs and good fun. She loved her family dearly and was proud of her children. She is survived by five siblings: Jackie (Clarence) Bartch, Bill (Sally) Sawka, Mary (Alex) Radawitz, Rudy (Jeannie) Sawka and Friday (Pat) Sawka.
