It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulette Dewitt, who was born on March 12, 1944, in Durham, North Carolina, and passed away on February 4, 2024. Paulette leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Paulette attended Hillside High School, where she graduated in 1962. She continued her education at North Carolina A&T, graduating in 1966 with a degree she worked hard to achieve. She went on to have a successful career at Research Triangle Park, where she dedicated herself to her work until her retirement in 2005.

Throughout her life, Paulette was a devoted mother to her four children, Gerri, Desiree, Lisa, and Sharon. She was also a loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Bryan, Malik, and Shon. Her family meant everything to her, and she took great pride in watching them grow and succeed.

Paulette touched the lives of so many with her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering strength. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with all those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
