STURTEVANT - Paul Kendall Isaacson, 86, passed away at his residence on August 23, 2012, with his family by his side. He was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on August 26, 1925, the son of the late Marcus and Anna (nee: Pederson) Isaacson. On June 9, 1951, Paul was united in marriage to Delores Dehring at the United Methodist Church. He had been employed at Twin Disc as a machinist for more than 31 years. Paul also farmed for many years. He was a longtime member and was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Paul was involved with 4H for more than 18 years and later became a 4H Leader. He was a past president of the Employee's Assoc. while at Twin Disc. Paul had many interests including gardening, skiing, bowling and baseball. He also enjoyed square dancing with the Ridge Runners. Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Deloris and their children; Maryann (Daniel) Hollister, Donna (Dan) Voye, Paul (Terri) Isaacson, Nancy (Mike) Siegrist and Janet (fiancé Shaun Giese) Lemke, son-in-law, Jon Lemke, 11 grandchildren; Heidi (Shawn) Abernathy, Brian Hollister, Nathan Voye, Anna Voye, Erica Isaacson, Jessica Siegrist, Kaila Siegrist, Jennifer Ricchio, Stephany (fiancé Andrew Strash) Ricchio, Sr. Airman U.S.A.F. Jonathan (Samantha) Lemke and Justan ( fiancée Alexis Jensen)Lemke; six great grandchildren, Rylan, Ayden, Brenden, Breanna, Jamie and Rylee; brothers, Richard Isaacson and Robert Isaacson. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Paul was preceded in death by an infant son, John Edwin Isaascon, great granddaughter, Marlee Kendall Schooler, sister, Ione (Warren) Oertel, brothers; Milton (Angie) Isaacson, Adrian (Mary) Isaacson and Merlin (Hillary) Isaacson, sisters-in-law; Jeanette Isaacson and Evelyn Isaacson. Funeral services will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 2219 Washington Ave. on Tuesday August 28, 2012 at 3 pm with Rev. Ron Bellow officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Tuesday from 1 pm until service time. Paul will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Paul in a special way may direct memorials to Our Saviors Lutheran Church or Hospice Alliance.
