Paul Gates MitchellRockledgePaul Gates Mitchell, 72, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. Paul was born on August 15, 1944 in Bradenton, Florida to Ruby and Paul B.L. Mitchell. Paul Gates retired from Brevard County Schools after a 38-year career, having spent most of that time as a dedicated P.E. teacher at Roy Allen Elementary. He will be greatly missed by his wife Karen, daughters Hope, Hillary, and Ashley, their respective spouses, as well as his seven grandchildren. Services and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11AM at Rockledge United Methodist Church; friends and family may visit one hour prior to the services. A private burial ceremony will be held at the Seminole Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida on Sunday, October 23, 2016.
