SEDALIA — Patrick Allen Smith, 58, of Sedalia passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born on December 11, 1957 in Independence, MO the son of Gordon and Genevieve (Thompson) Smith, who preceded him in death.
Pat served his country honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, watching movies and listening to music. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Pat lived most of his life in Sedalia.
Survivors include two sons, Chad Smith and his wife Sheena of Gilbert, AZ and Cory Smith of Boulder Creek, CA; a granddaughter, Avery Smith; two brothers, Michael Smith and his wife Lydia of Horn Lake, MS and Phillip Smith and his wife Delorce of Marion, AR; a sister, Betsy Smith and her husband Wayne Vaughn of Sedalia; two nephews; and three nieces.
A celebration of life gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
