Collins, Patrick RussellPat R. Collins, age 53, of Kaukauna, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was born on April 9, 1964, son of James and Margaret (Kersten) Collins. Pat married Mary Horn on July 27, 1984, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He graduated from Kaukauna High School, class of 1982. Pat was a very proud Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid Packers fan and couldn't miss an episode of Ghost Adventures. Pat loved his pet cats, Maycie and Copper. He enjoyed camping and boating with his family and especially spending time with his two precious grandchildren. Pat is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary; his son, Scott (Gwen) Collins; a daughter, Kelsey (Ryan) Burrows; two grandchildren: Hayden and Madelyn; mother, Margaret Collins; siblings: Timothy (Lois) Collins, Victoria (Jim McDonough) Schroeder, and Michele (Mark) Havel; mother-in-law, Ethelyn "Pooch" Horn; brothers and sisters-in-law: William (Debra) Horn, Ronald Horn, David (Karen) Horn, Rich (Karen) Horn, Putts (Joey) Brockman, and Gus (Ann) Horn; many nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by his father, Jim Collins; sisters-in-law: Marie and Nancy Horn; father-in-law, Joseph Horn; a nephew Kyle Huss and his son, Ryder Huss; grandparents: Cornelius and Anna Kersten; Mary's grandparents: Albert and Anna Kobs. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Full military honors will be performed immediately following the service.
