Patrick Joseph DaughertyAGE: 91 • NeptunePatrick Joseph Daugherty, 91, of Neptune passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. He was born on March 16, 1926 in Duluth, MN. Patrick moved to NJ in 1958 and resided in Neptune for 60 yrs. He was a part of the greatest generation, serving his country in the US Navy during World War II. Patrick was an active member of Holy Innocents Church, Neptune. He was an avid community advocate and was passionate about his family. He loved local art and NYC with regular trips on the train. Patrick was a self-described author, artist, advocate, provocative and a geriatric street fighter. He is predeceased by his daughter Andrea. He is survived by his wife Dolores, sons Mark and Chris, daughters Kathleen and Cynthia and many grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at the Ely Funeral Home, Neptune.
