Patrick Atkinson IIIFayettevillePatrick James (PJ) Atkinson III passed away September 18, 2017 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1966 in Frostburg, MD. He spent most of his adult life in Chambersburg.He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Christine Pittman Atkinson; and his three step-children, Marcus Pittman of Shippensburg, Nacosha Pittman of Chambersburg and Colby Pittman of Chambersburg. He is survived by his father, Patrick J. Atkinson Jr. of Frostburg, MD; his mother and step-father, Joe and Julia Williams of Frostburg, MD; and a sister, Amy Morton of Frostburg, MD. He is also survived by six grandchildren; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. Even though PJ struggled with life he was a kind compassionate man, always willing to help others. He developed a strong relationship with God, which will serve him well in his journey.A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 6 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The family will receive friends from 5:30 till time of services.
