Docter, Patrick J. "Doc"Patrick J. "Doc" Docter, 88, Suamico, died September 27, 2017. He was born on February 19, 1929, in Green Bay to John and Edith (Bouchard) Docter.Doc married Peg Vickery and together they had four children, Jim (Jenny), Pat (Chris), Edie, and Tim (Sandy); 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Education was important to Doc. He attended Annunciation Grade School, Green Bay West High School: and later attended Lake Forest College for his Bachelor's Degree; and Purdue University for his PhD. Doc was a teacher and football coach in Oconto Falls and Janesville. He later taught at Purdue University and Eastern Illinois University. He retired to Suamico in 1987. Doc loved to sing.The celebration of his life will be held at Suamico United Methodist Church, 3266 Lakeview Dr., Suamico, at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 15.
