Ahern Patrick "Pat" J. Ahern, 84, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on December 10, 2016 at Mount Carmel Hospital. He was born on August 18, 1932 in Huntington, WV to the late Roland and Gertrude (Hornberger) Ahern. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Rebecca. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; and brother, Dan (Dottie) Ahern of Lancaster; as well as his nieces and nephews. Pat was retired from Ohio Bell Telephone and a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict for four years of active duty and then seven years of active duty in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was a member of the American Legion Post 430 of Bexley, Ohio, VFW Post 9473 of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Helvetia Beneficial Society. At Pat's request there will be no calling hours. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park in Martinsville, VA.
