It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Thornton of Bowie, Maryland. Patrick was born on January 15, 1959, to Robert Sr. and Kay Thornton. He passed away on December 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Patrick is survived by his beloved wife, Hwa Suk Thornton, whom he married in 1982. Together, they shared a beautiful life and were blessed with four children: Amanda, Sarah, Patrick, and Matthew. Patrick was a devoted father and wonderful grandfather to his seven grandchildren.
Patrick was a dedicated member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he selflessly served his community. He also proudly served in the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, demonstrating his commitment to his country.
Patrick found joy in hobbies like skiing, which brought him peace and happiness. He will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering dedication, and loving spirit.
May Patrick Thornton rest in peace, knowing he leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will never be forgotten.
