Obey, Patricia M.Patricia Obey, 91, Wausau, died at her home on Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born on November 12, 1925. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Obey and her sister, Kathleen Kalupa. She is survived by her children, Todd (Deb) Maley, Wausau, Steven (Melissa Page-Fockler) Maley, Humbird, Wis., Tim (Barbara) Maley, Wisconsin Dells and Peg (Jim) Radtke, Wittenberg; her step-children, Diane Peltin, Madison, Dean (Sandi) Obey, Spencer and David (Joan) Obey, Arlington, Va.; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She and her husband, Orville, were the renowned owners of the Gas Lite Supper Club in Wausau, as well as Forest City Tavern in Tomahawk. Her employment history included, Able Plumbing, Wausau Area Chamber of Commerce and Marathon County Courthouse. Pat was noted for the "veranda parties" she hosted on her front porch. If the number of her friends was an indication of a persons' worth, "Patty" was a millionaire. A sharing of memories and celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
