Patricia Jean BlevinsSeptember 25, 1933 - June 04, 2017TularePatricia Jean Blevins was called to heaven on June 4, 2017. Pat was born on September 25, 1933 in Hibbing, Minnesota. Her parents were Walter Hoge and Ella Stefano Hoge. Pat is preceded in death by her husband George J. Blevins, her parents Walter and Ella Hoge, brother Howard Hoge, sisters; Genevieve Koehmstedt, Maxine Weyant and step sister Ruth Fisher. Pat is survived by her children Russell and wife Cheryl Blevins of Tulare, Kathy Blevins and partner Josette Jaquemin of Reno, Nevada, Lynn Petty of Visalia, Susie Hensley of Grover Beach and Roger Blevins of Tulare, grandchildren Justin Clark, Ami Johnson, Tami Sparkman, Heather Terstegge, Megan Oliveira, and Kelly Kessinger. She was also blessed with nineteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.Pat attended first grade with baseball great, Roger Maris and was a proud alumni of Hibbing High School, She maintained loving relationships with many of the friends she left behind when moving to Tulare in 1961. Pat was a homemaker. She loved children, animals, Elvis, going to casinos, playing softball in Tulare's senior league and going out with her friends. She had a green thumb and was a member of the Tulare Garden Club for many years. Pat leaves behind many loyal friends in Hibbing and Tulare and was always eager to help people and make new friends. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church in Tulare.Family would like to thank Tulare Regional Medial Center, Optimal Hospice, and a special thanks to Merritt Manor Convalescent Hospital of Tulare for their excellent care over the past four years. Private graveside services were held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine, CA. Per Pat's wishes, she was buried with her husband, George.
