HUDSON — Patricia M. Didion, 80, of McClish Lake, Hudson, died Monday, October 20, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on February 13, 1934, in Fort Wayne to Eugene and Genevieve (Murphy) Duehmig. Patricia was a homemaker and also worked as a beautician in her early years. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Angels Catholic Church, Rosary Solidarity, and the Orland American Legion Post 423 Auxiliary. She loved to play Euchre and crochet. On September 17, 1955, she married Bernard P. Didion in Fort Wayne. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2004. Surviving Patricia are her three daughters and two sons-in-law, Kimberley and Mike Chamness and Karen and Ed Bowers both of Fort Wayne, and Kathleen McCormick of LaGrange; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kevin and Denise Didion of Dallas, Texas, Kenneth and Barbara Didion of Fort Wayne and Keith Didion of Angola; four grandchildren, Brian Chamness, Brittany (Dustin) Knight, Matthew Resor and Zackary (Jeni) Resor; three great-grandchildren, Ashton Chamness, Andrew Resor and Alex Resor; and a sister, Sharon Duehmig of Oregon. Her parents, her husband and two brothers, Gustave and Thomas Duehmig, preceded Patricia in death. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the St. Mary's of the Angels with Father Dave Carkenord officiating. There will also be an hour of calling prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will take place in Wright Cemetery, Hudson, Indiana. A visitation will be held for Patricia from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014, at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange. A rosary service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be contributed to Masses to the church or Salem Center Volunteer Fire Department.
