HACKETT, Patricia C.Patricia C. Hackett passed away at home, surrounded by family, Nov. 3, 2016. Patti was born on Dec. 20, 1957 and raised in Lakeland, FL. Following graduation from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors in Marine Biology, she worked for Florida Power & Light (Ft. Myers), Continental Shelf (Jupiter) and Pan Am (NASA) and served as Director of the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. Patti and her husband Andrew K. Hackett raised their family in Jupiter and operated Ocean Breeze Construction. Patti is preceded in death by her mother Gwendolyn Causey. She is survived by her father John Causey, sisters Melissa Causey and Virginia Burris, children Andrew Hackett II (Alba) and Gwendolyn Healy (Rick), grandchildren Olivia Healy and Andrew Hackett III and countless friends and family who were blessed to know her. Patti was a devoted warrior of Christ and touched the lives of many with her unwavering faith, strength, love and generosity. Friends and family are invited to attend a short memorial service on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at 10:30 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 9625 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
