Patricia BeilPatricia A. "Pattie" Beil, nee Linkey, age 77, of St. Jacob, IL, born on November 19, 1939 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital, Chesterfield, MO. Pattie was a member and past President of the Lion's Club of St. Jacob and a Trustee of the Village of St. Jacob. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge of Mascoutah. Pattie was passionate about fairness, and righting wrongs. The world is losing an integrity-filled, big hearted, selfless and smiling soul. The Lord gained a warrior. She was preceded in death by her sons, Sean Lee Rice and Jason William Beil; her mother, Jane Victoria Bomba; and her siblings, Teresa Linkey, Marsha Juenger, and Nikki Rash. She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. "Joe Henry" Beil and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 3, 2017; her children, Dr. Stephen R. (Karen) Rice of Springfield, MO and J.D. (Mary) Beil of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Rice (fiancée Dr. Sandra Trybus), Stephanie Rice, Kelly Garner and Julia Beil; her sisters, Mary Jane Egan of Troy, IL and Jeannie (Hugh) Cunningham of Troy, IL. Pattie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
