Patricia Ann (Sullivan) Dempsey, age 76, of Stanton, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, in the comforts of her home on Stanton Road. She was born on November 15, 1939, in Bradford, PA, to the late John L. and Pearl (Kline) Sullivan. On August 30, 1957 she began her marriage to ClintonW. Dempsey, in Brookville, PA, in a union that lasted over 59 years. For most of her career she worked as a caregiver, and she had obtained her certificate as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. That line of work was a perfect fit for her because of her love for helping other people. She also enjoyed playing cards and Bingo. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 daughters; Pamela, Barbara, Bonnie, and Debbie; 2 sons, Bill and Michael (Kim); 3 sisters; Jackie, Marie, and Irene; 2 brothers; John, and Tom; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 daughters; Mary Jane, and Joyce Marie; 2 sisters; Mary Ellen, and Felecitas; 2 nephews; Darrin and Johnny; and 1 grandson, Cory Michael. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother; her family will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date.
