On January 9, 2026, the world lost a beloved soul with the passing of Patricia Pope. Patricia was born on October 16, 1945, in Manhattan , New York to her parents Charles and Madea.

In 1989, she married the love of her life, Gerald, and together they raised a beautiful family of five children: Donna, Gerald Jr, Troi, Kimberly, and Todd. Patricia was a devoted stay-at-home mom who poured her heart and soul into caring for her loved ones. She will also be missed by her 3 grandchildren Brandon the youngest, Taurean the middle, and Shanaya the oldest, who was with her at her last moments shared a great moment and will forever be cherished

Patricia had a passion for cooking and spent countless hours in the kitchen, whipping up delicious meals for her family to enjoy. Her culinary creations will always be remembered and cherished by those who were fortunate enough to taste them.

Tragically, Patricia's life was cut short by a stroke, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind four cherished grandchildren who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness.

Although Patricia has left this world, her spirit will forever remain with us, guiding and watching over her family from above. May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
