It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Goodwin, 66, of Columbia, South Carolina. Patricia was a beloved member of the community, known for her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Patricia was born on February 22, 1958, and dedicated her life to spreading love and positivity to those around her. Her presence will forever be cherished, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. She was definitely one of a kind! Her smile would warm a room and her laughter was contagious! She was taught at an early age sewing, dancing, and cooking and taught her family her skills at early ages. She leaves to cherish her memory such as her husband, James P. " Jimmy" Goodwin Jr.; her brother Bryon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

More loved ones that had great laughs and memories to cherish, her daughters Barbara and Cynthia. Two sisters, Phyllis & Judy both of Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina. Grandchildren who she adored! Melissa, Monica (Kenny), Nykuria, Aravia, Maurice Jr, Kanya, Thomas and Christopher (Tiffany), Dontae & her favorite as everyone would say Melinda of Columbia, SC. Nephews who she referred to as the "Fab Four '' Jerome, Tyrone, Kevin & Trell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
