Pat Sweat, 72, of West Valley City, Utah, passed Monday, May 20, 2019. Pat was born to Vanner G Funderburk, and A Jewell Eads, January 04, 1947. In Amory Mississippi, her family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She married L Dick Mortensen in 1961 Salt Lake City, Utah They Moved to Washington, later divorced, moved back to Salt Lake City, Utah, in the late 70s. Married Glade Sweat in 1980, later divorced. Pat got as far as the 8th grade. She has had many different jobs over the years, but waitressing was what she did most of her life. Her greatest job, however, was being a mother and a grandmother.

Pat is survived by her children, Bryan Mortensen; Washington, Lisa Wood ( Nicole);Utah, Jason Mortensen (Theresa); Washington and Rob Mortensen Utah 11 grandchildren 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter 3 brothers Jim ( Elaine); Utah, Barry and Perry; Washington 1 sister Bev (Michael);Washington Preceded by her Father, Mother, Brother(Herb), Sisters (Dyann)and(Wendy), And Glade.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor Saturday August 17th,2019 1pm-6pm 3525 W Westlake Drive W V C
