Simone, Pat Michael 77, of Paradise Valley, passed away after a long battle with kidney disease on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Mayo Hospital. Pat was born on December 5, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Ralph and Emma Simone. Pat graduated in 1961 from Arizona State University with a BS in accounting. He spent his life working as a real estate investor. Pat enjoyed traveling to Maui, the Phoenix Symphony and attending the Phoenix Suns Basketball games. He was a unique soul; a strong, courageous man who fought to the last day. He will be greatly missed. Pat is survived by his girlfriend, Trisha Williams of 15 years, her daughter Amy, and grandson Jax, as well as the Simone family of New York. He is preceded in death by his father Ralph, mother Emma and brother Julius. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 10AM - 11AM for the viewing followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Burial to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
