Celebrating a Life

Pamela Jean Collins, age 67, of South Beloit, Illinois passed away at home on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 30th, 1953 in Pontotoc Mississippi, the daughter of Edna Chisholm and Donnie Bradford.

Pamela finished high school and met her husband David A. Collins and moved to South Beloit. They were married on June 27th, 1973. Pamela worked at the Corral as a cook. Later she left the Corral to start a family. After her four children were all in school she went back cooking at Saladino.

Survivors include her four children, Brenda and Janice Collins of South Beloit, Roy Collins of Beloit Wisconsin, and Cindy Collins of Roscoe Illinois. Grandchildren Damiequa (Stanley) Frazier, Drakar Collins, Diondre Etchin, and Raeqwon Greer, and nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be March 05, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1151 East Grand Ave Beloit Wisconsin with the funeral starting at 11 a.m. Pastor Sherrick Anderson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Lawn Cemetery in South Beloit.
