Pamela Trahan (née Ames), born on July 26, 1959, in Elmira, New York, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, in Elmira. Their passing marks the loss of a cherished presence whose life was deeply rooted in family, faith, and simple joys.
Pamela was raised in Elmira and graduated from Elmira Christian Academy, where they embraced their Christian faith—a guiding force throughout their life. Their devotion to family and community was evident in every chapter of their journey.
Pamela is lovingly remembered by their sons Micheal Trahan, Robert Trahan, and Jonathan Boik; their life partner David Boik; and their grandchildren Tracy Trahan, Yelena Trahan, Christina Baker, and Preston Baker. Pamela also leaves behind their mother Sandra Ferreira; siblings Kelly Poley, Dale Ferreira, Christopher Ferreira, and Terri Lenox.
They were preceded in death by their father Paul "Yogi" Ferreira; birth parents Ella Ames (Thomas) and Emmons Ames; and sister Deborah Haner.
Pamela found joy in the thrill of NASCAR races and the excitement of WWE wrestling. They had a passion for puzzles that reflected both patience and curiosity. Above all else, Pamela treasured time spent with their grandchildren—moments filled with laughter, love, and lasting memories.
