Palmer Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born on March 3, 1937, to proud parents Clifford and Pearl Thompson.

Palmer is survived by his loving partner, Earlene Thompson, their four children Eric, Jacqueline, Leticia, and Steven, and seven adoring grandchildren.

Palmer spent many years working at the Post Office, delivering mail with a smile on his face. In his free time, he loved nothing more than heading out to the water for a day of fishing, always coming home with a big catch and even bigger stories to share.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but we take comfort in the fact that he is now in a better place, reeling in the biggest fish of them all. Rest in peace, Palmer Thompson.
