Pak Ho, 75, of Oakland, California, passed on March 11, 2021. Pak was born on August 16, 1945.
Pak Chung Ho was an Asian-American man, from China (Hong Kong) and he had 3 daughters, 2 grandsons, and a care manager. He also has many friends including Carl Chan who is the president of Oakland’s Chinatown chamber of commerce. The care manager says he is really nice and caring to other people. He was walking outside for his usual morning walk, happily on Tuesday when he was robbed, and knocked to the ground by a man. Ho suffered brain damage and died from his injuries on Thursday.
Ho graduated from Michigan State university and joined Amoco as a mechanical engineer. Ho kept active, by taking English classes with the Oakland Senior Center and tai chi classes at Lincoln Square Park. Ho was a dedicated practitioner of Tai Chi for much of his adult life.
We will remember Pak Chung Ho forever and he will always be in our heart.
