Ossie Mae Jones was born May 17, 1946 in Columbia, Mississippi to Joseph Tuben Jones and Hattie Willie Maxie Jones. Ossie was raised in Mississippi along with her 4 brothers and 3 sisters until 1963 when the family moved to St. Louis, Missouri. She was always a daddy's girl and showed that she loved her dad more than words could ever explain.Ossie accepted Christ as her lord and salvor at an young. Ossie married Joseph Lumzy and in 1971, they decided it was time for a change, packed up and moved to Chicago, Illinois along with their four of her five children. Ossie worked at Style Time Salon for many years and never left an granddaughters hair undone. Ossie loved to spend time cooking for family. 
   Ossie had five children: Jacqueline L. Jones, Joe Earl Lumzy, Lisa Ann Jones(preceded in death), Kenneth Ray Lumzy(Venus Binns) & Jeffrey Lamont Lumzy. Ossie had 23 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
