Riley, Opal Olene Rogers,Ms. Opal Olene Rogers Riley, 79, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, April 30, 2017. Ms. Riley was born on February 14, 1938 in Glasgow, KY. Among those who preceded her in death include her parents, Merritt and Nellie Rogers; sisters, Mabel Livesay and Barbara Fisher and brothers, Leonard, Ewing and Mitchell Rogers. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Mavlin Rogers; children, Marvin Riley (Vicky), Sheila Washburn (Dennis), Lewis Riley (Edith), George Riley (Donna), Beth Logsdon (Scott); 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren and special nieces, Pat Monahan and Shelly Robinson.Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
