It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Omar Brown, a beloved member of the Loyola community. Omar, only 19 years old, left us too soon on September 15, 2023. Born on April 28, 2004, Omar was known for his infectious smile, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about. He brightened the lives of all who knew him with his sense of humor and positive attitude. Omar was a hard working young man who was very outgoing, determined, passionate, loving, and caring. He was involved in many things growing up. He was a second degree blackbelt in kung-fu, a track star (before many of his injuries), an inspiring clothing brand owner with a love for fashion and self expression, an amazing son, a great Boyfriend, and a stupendous friend who put others ahead of himself. Omar's passing leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the impact he made on those around him.
