Evans, Olive Jane "Janie" Passed away on August 26, 2017. She was born on August 30, 1924 in Eugene, Oregon. She grew up in Oregon, and then attended Principia College. She married Richard M. Evans on April 27, 1946 in Pasadena, California. They were married 70 years and lived happily in Milwaukee. Janie had many various interests, but will be remembered for heading many benefits for organizations in the community with an "Elsa Maxwell" type flare. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by her children; Kathleen Lipscomb, Holly Knudsen, and Richard S. Evans; her grandchildren; Garrett Knudsen, Jon Knudsen, and Katie Meyer; and three great-grandchildren. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park will be private for the family.
