We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Olantha Hall, who was born on August 18, 1952 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. Olantha peacefully passed away on April 18, 2024.

Olantha was the beloved daughter of Moten Hall and Orlandra Hall. She was the loving spouse of Robert Hall, with whom she was married for 26 years. Olantha is survived by her three children: (late) Carl Edwin Chase, Ivy Thomas (married to Zeke Thomas), and Katina Chase-Smith (married to John Smith). She was also a cherished grandmother to five grandchildren Lashai Chase-Wilson, Zenisha Thomas, Ashanti Thomas, Zeke Thomas Jr., and Cionne Chase.

Olantha attended Sara T Reed High School and was known for her passion for cooking and baking. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends.

Olantha will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
