Okafor Umozurike, lovingly known as Oka, of San Francisco, California, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born on June 5, 1947, Oka lived a vibrant and colorful life filled with a passion for painting. Whether he was bringing life to a blank canvas or adding a splash of color to a dull room, Oka's artistic talents never failed to impress.

He married his beloved spouse, Chizi, in the year 20, and together they welcomed a beautiful child named Eni. Oka's family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Despite facing challenges in his later years, Oka approached life with grace and bravery. His positive outlook and unwavering spirit inspired all who knew him.

On September 30, 2025, Oka passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. While he may no longer be with us, his artistry, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Rest in peace, Oka. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
