Nova OsborneCharlotte, NCNever has one so deserved to soar in the heavens as Nova Osborne, 86, of Charlotte NC, who joined the angels on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. She was the daughter of the late G.C. and Leila Smith and was born on January 26, 1931 in Iva, SC.Full of life, kindness, wisdom, and a lovable extrovert, she radiated a wonderful aura that drew people to her throughout her life. A favorite of her schoolmates, she played basketball and was a cheerleader. At Anderson College she was an actress and radio personality. Her career spanned from legal secretary to court stenographer to a beloved and highly respected Charlotte real estate broker for almost 40 years.She was the wife of the late Harry Osborne. The most wonderful mother imaginable, she is survived by her two loving sons, Jeffrey, Charles and his wife Andrea, nieces Nancy Blanchard and Kathy Smith, and many other nieces and nephews. We thank God every day for the love and support she heaped upon us. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 9, at Providence United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC.
