Shehan, 92, of Bowling Green died on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Christian Health Center.The Glenwood, IA native was born on April 20, 1925 to the late Henry Scott "Scotty" and Florence Eastlack Shehan. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Francis Scott Shehan.Mr. Shehan had been a Registered Professional Engineer for both KY and LA. He served in the Navy during WWII, and was also active in many clubs and organizations.He is survived by his wife, Jannie "Jan" Erwin Shehan; two children, Daniel Scott "Scotty" Shehan, Sr. (Linda) and Kathryn Jarboe (Jeff); a sister, Carolyn Ann Omundson; six grandchildren, Daniel "Scotty" Shehan, Jr (Laura), Kristen Cooper (Brandon Alexander), Jennilee Coots (Chris), Stevie Eaton (Luke), Lindsay Jarboe Hudgins (Will), and Lacee Jarboe (Andrew Young); and nine great-grandchildren with one expected soon.A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1 PM at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4 - 8 PM and again on Thursday from 10 AM until funeral time at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.Expressions of sympathy may be sent in the form of donations to the Norris E.
