Norman left this life quietly in his sleep on April 3, 2018. He was 92 years old. 

He was preceded in death by both parents, his first wife, Minnie, son Dexter Sr and grandson Tony. 

Punji, as he was affectionately known was born in Alabama thereafter moving to Chattanooga with his parents. He was educated in the school system here. He served in the US Navy. He retired from Rocktenn Paper Company. He lived a long full life until the end. 

He is survived by his wife, Elvinya; two sons, Norman(Sadie) Talley Jr and Anthony Talley; one daughter, Remon (Rodney)McGee; daughter-in-law Anita Talley; stepdaughters Kim and Cookie; five grandchildren, Monica, Duana, Dexter Jr, Julian, and Tranisha; five great grandchildren, Azuri, Kaysha, Shantilya, Niya, and Darius; and a host of other relatives and friends.
