Norman Dierkes, of Marengo, Illinois, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on July 1, 1956, Norman lived a vibrant and eventful life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Norman was a dedicated computer engineer who excelled in his field with passion and skill. He also proudly served in the military, demonstrating his commitment to his country and community.

When he wasn't working, Norman enjoyed spending time on his two favorite hobbies: computers and casinos. Whether he was exploring new technology or trying his luck at the slot machines, Norman always had a smile on his face.

Norman is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Dierkes, whom he was married to for 47 wonderful years. Together, they raised three beautiful children: Jennifer, Cindy, and Brenda. Norman was also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren.
