Norma Jean was born on May 11, 1926 in Walnut, Iowa to Marie Elsie (Rihner) and William Lyle Griffith.Norma loved animals, reading, fishing, playing cards and especially loved her family. She was married for 48 years to Ross H. Flowers, Sr. before his passing in 1995. She enjoyed being a homemaker for her family and was proud to be a homeowner.Those left to celebrate her life are her son, Chris (Terri) Flowers; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Opal) Griffith; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ross H. Flowers, Sr.; her son, Ross "Harry" Flowers, Jr.; daughter, Becky S. Findley and five siblings.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Family will greet visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home.
