VERONA >> Noreen J. Bennett Moore, 73, of Verona, passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2106, at her home, with her loving family at her side. She was born on April 25, 1943, a daughter of the late William J. Sr. and Viola Litz Bennett. Noreen was a graduate of V.V.S. High School and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Verona. On Dec. 21, 1972 she was united in marriage to Rex B. Moore Sr. in Troy, Mich. Noreen was employed by General Motors in Michigan, until her retirement.She is survived by her loving husband, Rex B. Moore Sr. of Verona; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth R. and Barbara Moore, Jeffery S. and Wendy Moore, Rex B. Jr. and Tammy Moore, all of Michigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Peter Andrews, Janice and Mark Marvin, all of Michigan; a sister, Terry R. Bennett of Verona and brother, William Bennett Jr. of Rome; a special aunt, Patricia Niznik; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Hospice, especially Jennifer, Kim and Melissa for the wonderful care they provided to Noreen and her family.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford N.Y. 13413 or the , 120 Lomond Court, Utica N.Y. 13502.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Strong-Burns & Sprock Funeral Home, 7751 Merrick Road, Rome. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery.
