Norbert G. Werk1942 - 2016Norbert G. Werk, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Kenosha Hospital.He was born on Jan. 20, 1942, to the late Kurt and Erika (Recksidler) Werk in Germany. He came to the US in 1956. He was educated at Lincoln Jr. High School and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.On Nov. 9, 1973, he married Donita Neisius in Kenosha.Norbert worked at MacWhyte Wire & Rope for many years until they closed and then for Vista International.Norbert enjoyed old cars, old music, fishing, messing around the house. He liked watching world soccer games, an avid Packer, Brewer and Cub fan (go all the way Cubs!).Norbert is survived by his loving wife Donita; children, Nicole "Nikki" (Jordan) Reichel, Jason Werk, both of Kenosha; grandchildren Nadia and Giulia Werk, Jadyn and Tim Reichel; brother Horst Werk of Corning, N.Y.; godmother Loni Singer; and his pal Yappy our dog.He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Olga Recksidler.Funeral Services for Norbert will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
