Nora Hemphill, a Rock Hill resident since forever (well, at least since the day she was born on January 16, 1947), passed away on June 18, 2023. She lived a full and joyous life, and left behind a legacy of laughter and love.Nora was known to her family and friends as a happy soul, always ready with a quick joke or a kind word. Her infectious laughter lit up every room she entered, and her generous spirit made her everyone's favorite.Those who knew her well will never forget her signature style—bold prints, bright colors, and statement jewelry. She was always the best-dressed person in the room. Nora was also a tireless advocate for community, volunteering her time and money to various youth organizations in the Rock Hill area.Nora was preceded in death by here faithful companion Lou( Her Road Dog ). She is survived by her loving family, including her sister Mildred, daughters Gloria, Anita, and Denise, son Joe, grand kids Ben, Kaden, Kadiesa, Terrence, Allison, nephew Ben, and a host of great grands and friends who will miss her dearly.Please join us in remembering this lovely lady and celebrating her life.
