It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nkoyo Udoedemeka, who was born on August 11, 1934, and peacefully left this world on September 23, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. Nkoyo was the beloved spouse of Kwame Udoedemeka, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage since 1950. Together, they raised 8 wonderful children.

Nkoyo was a loving mother to Zaire Emun, Abeba Udoedemeka, Mosi Udoedemeka, Kwame Udoedemeka, Femi Abdullahi, Issa Dlamini, Omari Udoedemeka, and Ayana Acheampong. She was also a proud grandmother to 33 grandchildren.

She attended Kenya High School, where she excelled in her studies and graduated in 1953. Nkoyo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
