We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Nettie Brown, who was born on May 2, 1943, in Jackson, Mississippi, United States. She passed away on September 10, 2025. Nettie was the beloved daughter of Lenton and Hattie Pearl Brown.

Nettie married the love of her life, Robert Brown, in 1967. They were blessed with three children: Fadenso Brown (spouse April Brown), Cedric Brown, and Chavey Brown (spouse Reece Barbour). Nettie was also a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.

Nettie attended Brinkley High School and furthered her education at Utica Jr College, graduating in 1961. She had a passion for gardening, bargain shopping, and decorating.

Nettie will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
