Nellie Ilene WisenbargerMANSFIELD: Nellie Ilene Wisenbarger, 93, of Mansfield passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Mansfield Place. She was born on March 15, 1924 in Howard, Ohio to John Calvin and Eva Flora (Young) Reed. Nellie is a 1942 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Nellie traveled with her husband from 1942-1944 with his job for the Army until he went abroad. She retired from Montgomery Wards at the age of fifty eight. She has been a long time member of Caesarea Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and making retirement scrapbooks for her friends, reading her Bible and staying in contact with family and friends.Left to cherish Nellie's memory is her daughter, Ginger (Fred) Antrican; grandchildren, Jeremiah Wisenbager, Jason Antrican, Jodi McGlone, and Elizabeth Treadway; great-grandchildren, Kason Antrican, Emily Treadway, and Elijah Treadway; brother, John Calvin Reed Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Nellie was followed in death by her daughter, Linda Treadway. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence "Slim" Wisenbarger; sons, Jerry and David Wisenbarger; siblings, James Reed, Marie Jones, Eva Mae Williams, Wava Jean Smith, Betty Reed and Minnie Reed.The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. A funeral service conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
