Forever 29

Nathaniel Alderman also known as Nano to most, passed away unexpectedly on May 29th, 2025. He was born on the night of September 11th, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent some of his younger years in Utah until he and Sam moved to Colorado with their Mom Dani. They still frequently visited Utah throughout the years on holidays and during the summer months to spend time with their Dad Jake and family like his Aunts April and Krischelle and his late Uncle Mitch. Although Sam moved to Utah to live with their Dad Jake in 2012, Nano stayed in Colorado with their Mom Dani. He loved both of his parents, but some may say he’s a Momma’s Boy, including his Sister, but don’t let him know that. He was also outnumbered by his cousins who were all girls. But he was the boy of the family so they’d all say he was a bit more spoiled than most.

Nano spent his high school years split between San Antonio and Denver, where he eventually graduated in 2014 in Denver from Smokey Hill High School. While in high school Nano really developed his skill and passion for art. He was an incredible artist and had some of his artwork and ceramics showcased, he really enjoyed sketching, abstract art, ceramics and painting. I can't even think about a time where he wasn't doodling or drawing on anything and everything he could, including himself

Nano moved back to utah in 2016 and spent his last 9 years living there. Nano found other passions in cooking and baking which he would never tell you about but he made a damn good apple pie which was his Great Grammy’s recipe. He also gained a skill for the granite industry, working alongside his Dad and Uncle for many years. He would tell you he loved cars and trucks but he really was the worst driver haha.

"Nano, we know you made some questionable choices these past few years, but as we let you go, we forgive you, we see you, and we most of all we feel you and will continue to feel you everyday" - Love Mom, Dad, and Squeak.

He is survived by his parents Dani and Jake and his sister Sam Alderman. He’s also survived by his Nanni Debby and Papa Ken. Who he’d say are his favorite people, well he wouldn’t say that to your face but his Nanni was his favorite person. He is also survived by his last living Uncle Mike and the many cousins he has. He wouldn’t forget about all of the Aunts and Uncles he gained through his parents.

Nano is proceeded in death by his Uncles Ryan, Mitch, Andrew, and Tam. As well as his Aunt Mary and the slew of great grandparents on both sides and many more who have left us too soon before him.

We all know Nano was met by his dogs Teddy Bear and Giovanni "Gio", who he loved more than most.

The family would ask you in lieu of flower we ask that you donate that money to your local homeless shelters and help get someone else's son or loved one home safely.

You can to the family or in memory of Nathaniel Alderman.
