Nancy Peeples BiddleKnoxville, TNNancy Peeples Biddle, age 93, passed away on November 21, 2016. She was born on November 11, 1923. The only child of Lena Allyn and Chauncey DePew Peeples. As a child, she loved and enjoyed her many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She attended Lausanne School, in Memphis ,and attended the University of Tennessee, in Knoxville. Nancy has been a volunteer with the Tennessee Medical Auxillary, Knoxviile Children's Hospital, the Helen Ross McNabb Center, the Opera Guild, and AOPi sorority as a chapter advisor. The love of her life has been Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, where she has been a member for over 50 years, and has volunteered faithfully in the children's ministry, including vacation bible school and being a shepherd in the preschool Sunday school classes.Nancy is preceded in death by her husband Dr. John F. Mohr; John W. Mills; and Culan V. Biddle. Nancy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Jo Ella Mohr, of Fort Mill, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mai Ellis, of Memphis, TN; and her daughter, Mary Ann Bosserman, of Bristol TN; seven grandchildren, John F. Mohr, lll, Stacey Schuetze, Eli Ellis, Scott Ellis, Whitney Ellis, Mary Allyn Bosserman, and Natalie St. George; six great-grandchildren, Sydney Mohr, Ashley Mohr, Caleb Schuetze, Sadie Schuetze, Isabella St. George and Henry Ellis; and a very dear friend, Allie Harmon.A memorial service will be held on December 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church. The family will greet friends following the service in Barron Hall.
