Nancy Jean Liebnow 1937 - 2016 Nancy Jean Liebnow, 78, of Elkhorn, Wis., passed away at her daughters home in Delavan, Wis., on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016. Nancy was born on Nov. 19, 1937, in Burlington, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth John and Edna Sarah (Lake) Faber. She was baptized and confirmed in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Nancy graduated from the Burr Oak grade school, and Lake Geneva High School, Class of 1955, and from Milwaukee Beauty Culture in 1956. She was united in marriage to Robert Edward Liebnow on Nov. 3, 1956, in Lake Geneva, Wis. Robert died March 3, 1995. Nancy owned and operated a ceramic studio for several years, Ceramics by Nancy Jean. Then she and her husband Bob bought a Peterbuilt tractor and a Ravens trailer and started Lebo Trucking. Nancy was an avid motorcyclist, member of the Wisconsin Southern Lakes Riders, A.M.A., and District 16 Abate of Walworth County, Wis. She was a proud seven year Breast Cancer Survivor. Nancy is survived by her two children, Scott Robert Liebnow Sr., Sherry Lynn (Andy) Aranda; five grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Warrenburg, Melinda (Michael) Schultz, Scott Liebnow Jr., Matthew (Jenny) Liebnow; Nicholas Hougas, 11 great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and further survived by nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert; her brother Larry; and the second love of her life, John Keiffer. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 12, 2016, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 415 Devendorf Street, Elkhorn, Wis., with Rev. David C. Rau officiating. Inurnment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Delavan, Wis. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
