Nancy Jane Watson was born in Asheville, North Carolina, on February 12th 1958. She always had a passion for animals, including horseback riding and even dog breeding. Nancy would raise many breeds of dogs, including Rottweilers and Cane Corsos, during her lifetime. One Rottweiler, in particular, named “Buck,” won many dog show awards. Nancy passed peacefully On February 9th, 2022, in her comfortable room at Camelot of Broussard nursing home. She is survived by her two sons, James Poplin, 42, of Leicester, North Carolina, and Roger Queen 39 of Lafayette Lousiana. Nancy’s last few years included lots of time enjoying her favorite video games and keeping her nurses and doctors on their toes. Roger had the honor of leading Nancy to the Lord about four years ago! Rest in heaven, Miss Nancy!
