Nadine BellKnoxville, TNNadine Ruth Ellis Bell, of Knoxville, passed away on June 4, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born on May 17, 1929 in Knoxville to the late George and Delta Ellis. Nadine was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Bluegrass and worked as a nurse assistant for 32 years at Lake Shore Mental Health Hospital until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Joseph Bell, Jr.; son, Steve Dewayne Bell and sister, Georgia Shearl. Nadine leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Fred Bell and wife, Josie of Georgia; Gail Williford and husband, Gary; David Bell, Sandra Anderson and husband, Tim of Knoxville; brother, Bob Ray Ellis of Harriman; twelve grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 8, at Berry Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37932. A Funeral Service will be held for Nadine in the chapel of Berry Highland West on Friday, June 9, at 10 am with interment following in the cemetery.
