Myrna Joy McCrillisFRAYSER, TN: Myrna Joy McCrillis (Park) passed away Tuesday, February 28th in Frayser, Tennessee.Joy was born on October 16th, 1938 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. She graduated from Trimble High School, Trimble TN. Shortly afterwards, she moved to Newark, Ohio where she met her soon-to-be husband, Jim McCrillis. They were married in Newark on April 27th, 1962.Her first career was being a mother to their three children. After two children had grown, she sought her nursing degree from Central Ohio Technical College, successfully becoming a registered nurse. She was employed by Licking Memorial Hospital as a surgical recovery nurse and as an emergency room nurse for several years.She is survived by her husband, three children: Lee Ellen McCrillis (Thom Porter), Jimmy McCrillis (Helen), and Dana Rife (Don), her sister Helen Stark (Bill), brother Curtis Park (Peggy), eight grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Eva Park, her brother JC Park, her sister Ouida Switzer, and her brother Raymond "Buddy" Park.A graveside memorial service will be held in Trimble, Tennessee on March 11th.
